Susan M. Woy, of Albuquerque, born August 6, 1946, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 after a fight with pneumonia, with loved ones by her side. She leaves behind her husband Rod, daughters Heather (Scott) Hunter and Alissa (Jeff) Pierce, both of Albuquerque, NM and son Jimmy (Kim) Neil of Fordyce, AR, 7 grandchildren, brothers Gary (Sue) Tubb of Seabrook, TX, John (Pat) Tubb of White Rock, NM, and sister Karen (Garry) Bryant of Edgewood, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Dorothy Tubb and her son Roy Neil. She was a graduate of Los Alamos High School and was active in the Order of Rainbow for Girls. She attended Tramway Community Church in Albuquerque, NM for many years leading a girls’ ministries class, and was part of the Praise Team, and Creative Hands Ministries at the church. She also loved volunteering at Heather’s school in the library. Her kind and generous smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Viewing will be Thursday, April 8 from 6-8pm at Strong Thorne Mortuary. Celebration of her life will be Friday, April 9 at 10:30am at Tramway Community Church. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Neil, Scott Hunter, Jeff Pierce, A. J. Pierce, Kyle Kirkpatrick, and Garry Bryant. Honorary pallbearer will be John Tubb. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Epilepsy Foundation at epilepsy.com/make-difference in honor of Susan Woy.
