Marquez, Sharon Kay
Age 60, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015. She was born on September 1, 1954 to Charles Woodford and Frances Marie (Hamby) Lawrence of Kansas City, MO. A resident of the Albuquerque area since 1966, she graduated from Sandia High School in 1972. She achieved an Associate's Degree in Nursing. Sharon had a very kind and compassionate heart that enjoyed taking care of others. Her laugh was infectious and her eyes always sparkled. She enjoyed animals and the outdoors, especially traveling throughout beautiful New Mexico. She, also enjoyed trying new restaurants and different types of cuisines. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Charles Lawrence; aunts and uncles, Peggy and Kenny Baker, Virginia and Eddie Edwards, Nadine and Harold Lawrence. She is survived by her loving husband and soul mate of 36 years, Mario Marquez, of Albuquerque, NM; mother, Frances Lawrence; sisters, Barbara Cornelius and husband, Edward, of Senatobia, MS, and Nancy Lawrence of Albuquerque, NM; cousins, Dixie Edwards and husband, Ron Dundon, of Kalamazoo, MI, Donna and Charlie Phillips of Blanchard, OK, Melodie and Chuck Bruns of Lee's Summit, MO, and Jimmie Lawrence, of Phoenix, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews.
