Ronald Torres

Ronald Torres, 48, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born on April 16, 1968 to George and Gloria (Valencia) Torres of Albuquerque, NM. He was a heavy equipment operator for the City of Albuquerque. He enjoyed coaching sports, especially for his children. He was a collector of many things and will be remembered for his vast and colorful Christmas decoration display. Ronald's greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Crela (Trask) Torres; children, Nykilah Torres Lucero and husband, Estevan, Maria Torres, Johnny Torres, Danny Torres, David Torres and Angelina Torres, all of Albuquerque; siblings, Richard Torres and wife, Rosemary, and Michael Torres, of Albuquerque, and Cathy Torres Lopez and her husband, Ernest, of Las Cruces, NM; Family; Lorraine Frazier, Donny Cordle, and Mike and Paula Voorhees, nieces and nephews; Richard (Jaclyn) Torres, Ray Lopez, David Lopez, Michael Torres, Samantha Torres, Ricky Henderson, Hunter Henderson, Sammy Voorhees; great-nephew, Max Torres; godchildren, Krista DeAngelis and Andrew Torres. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM with the Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque. The Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial and Resurrection will be at 9:00 AM on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 3424 Fourth Street NW, Albuquerque.
