Ronald Haynes, was born February 6, 1959, fifteen minutes before his twin sister, Regena Haynes. They were born at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM to Clyde Sr. and Vernice Haynes.
Ronald Haynes (Ronchie) age 62 passed away on November 12, 2021 at 9:51 am due to a battle with cancer. He worked as a Mail Carrier for Albuquerque post office. He completed high school and took a few courses at the University of Albuquerque.
With his family and friends Ronald enjoyed riding dirt bikes, going fishing and camping. He liked working on projects and repairing items around the house. He was an excellent mechanic and a bee keeper. He also enjoyed flying hot air balloons with his Airforce buddies. In his leisure time he would usually work on the automobiles of his friends and family. He was a die hard Dallas Cowboy supporter. He adored watching them on television and having long discussions with them about what he called America's team. He could always be found talking about life and the necessity of doing the right thing with anyone who was willing to listen. He was a rational man who was eager to learn new and exciting things.
Ronald was baptized as a young man at Shiloh Baptized Church under the leadership of Rev. L.E. Hightower.
Ronald is proceed in death by his father Clyde Haynes; mother Armitha Vernice French and brother Johnny Patterson.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Leslie Haynes; children, Alexis Haynes Tatum, Ronald Jr., Ramon Haynes, Marissa Wilkins, Aaron Haynes, Aric Haynes: grandchildren, Elijah Tatum, Ezekiel Tatum, Micah Tatum, Eneya Tatum; brothers, Clyde Haynes Jr., Charles Ray Haynes; sister, Marie Haynes, and Regena Haynes and a host of nieces and nephews, and friends.
Ronald will truly be missed, but will never be gone from our hearts. We will love and cherish his memories forever. “We love you always Mr. Ronald Haynes dear brother”.
Visitation services, Monday November 29, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Strong Thorne Funeral Home, 1100 Coal Ave SE.
