Albuquerque, NM: Ronald J. Dodier, 84, of Albuquerque, NM, and a former resident of Waikiki, Haverhill and Groveland, died on 02/08/2025 following a period of declining health at his home and with his family by his side.
Mr. Dodier was born in Haverhill, son of the late Edward Dodier, and Emma (Gardner) Dodier. He attended St. Joseph’s school, and was a former member of St. Joseph’s Church in Haverhill.
Mr. Dodier was employed as a young man at the Haverhill Paperboard Company, and later as a construction worker for Merrimac Paving, Middlesex Paving, and Breshahan and Horrigan Contracting.
His hobbies included plumbing & heating, gardening, and animal husbandry focusing on the breeding of chickens and turkeys.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Carol E. (Thayer) Dodier, a daughter and son-in-law, Wanda (Leathers) Page, and Gary Page of Bradford, MA, and son, Robert Dodier of Albuquerque, NM, three grandchildren, Ronald Page of Pelham, NH, Matthew Page of San Diego, CA, and Daniel Page of Haverhill, and one great grandchild, Dallas Page, also of Haverhill.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mr. Dodier’s Life Celebration on Thursday, 02/20/2025 at 9AM followed by a Christian burial at the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Memorial donations may be made to the MSPCA, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA., 01844.
