Robert "Bob" Corey

Robert "Bob" L. Corey, 84, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016.  Mr. Corey loved life and loved to have fun. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and anything that had to do with the outdoors. He, also loved to dance and classic country music. He retired from Sandia National Laboratories where he was a Stock Control Supervisor. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Corey, and brother, Bill Corey. Mr. Corey is survived by his children: Kip L. Corey and wife, Terrie, of Chama, NM, Tamrah L. Corey-Hall of Los Lunas, NM, Chris W. Corey of Albuquerque, NM, and Debra L. Corey-Padilla and husband, Robert, of Belen, NM; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings, Lucille, Ruth, Mary, Tom, and Lois. Viewing and Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service begins at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque. Interment with military honors will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Kip Corey, Chris Corey, Robert Padilla, Will Corey, Rick Madrid, and Seth Hall. A very special thank you is given to Mr. Corey's hospice nurse, Loretta Oldfield, and home care nurse, Diane Torres, for their exceptional care. Robert L.
