ROBERT ELMER MOSLEY JR. was born July 13, 1949 in Shreveport, LA to the union of Robert Elmer Mosley Sr. and
Eileen Odessa Mosley. He graduated from St. Peter Claver Catholic High School in San Antonio, TX. He married Beverly
Randle Mosley and to this union one daughter was born, Eilene Rachquel Mosley.
Robert was an outgoing person who made friends with many people and was loved by his family members who called him,
“Jr.” He really enjoyed hunting and fishing in his hometown, Shreveport, LA, sometimes called the “Sportsman’s Paradise.”
He relocated to Albuquerque, NM in 1975 and made it his home until his earthly departure on Monday, September 17, 2018.
He worked for American Furniture Co. and various jobs until he became physically disabled. He spent many years with
Martha Johnson (deceased) and was a beloved father figure to her daughters, Lillie and Jomma. He accepted the Lord
Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in his youth and visited the New Hope Full Gospel Church (Bishop David C. Cooper)
periodically over the years. He loved to joke around and debate the current events in the world of sports, politics, and other
hot topics of the day. You could find him at all of the holiday events held at his only brother, Stanley’s house, eating,
teasing, watching sports, talking trash and playing dominoes, spades, and bid whist! He knew how to thoroughly enjoy
himself and the spark of his personality was memorable and enjoyable to those who crossed his path. His greatest passion
in the latter part of his life was enjoying lively conversations and visits with his daughter, Eilene Rachquel. She put a smile
on his face and a smart aleck response in his mouth. They could be themselves around each other. They joked and laughed
about who can get the most ladies. They loved to have delightful banter with one another. She was the love of his life.
Robert will be sorely missed and remembered by all who had a relationship with him. He was preceded in death by his
father and mother; Robert E. Mosley Sr. and Eileen O. Mosley, and his grandmother, Beatrice H. Pope. He is survived by
his daughter, Eilene R. Mosley of Killeen, TX, (Pamela Williams and children); his brother, Edwin Stanley Mosley and
sister-in-law Gwendolyn F. Mosley (affectionately called “Sis”) of Albuquerque; nephews; Kevin G. Mosley of Silver Springs,
MD, Donavan S. Mosley of Albuquerque, and Kenneth M. Mosley of Los Angeles, CA; uncles; Ashton Mosley of Shreveport,
LA and Harrison Mosley Jr. of Houston, TX; a host of Cousins and Friends.
“Old Man” til we see each other again.
