Age 21, of Albuquerque went to be with the Lord Friday, August 08, 2021. Raban was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 23, 1999. He was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, uncle and father. He was caring, loving, and had an enduring spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone he came across. Raban enjoyed many sports including basketball, which he played while attending Del Norte High-school. Off the court, he enjoyed playing video games, creating art, and spending time with friends and family. Being dedicated to his education, he graduated from Del Norte High School in hopes of creating a suitable life for his daughter Ava. Raban always showed gratitude for the little things in life. Raban was humble and had natural aura that brought laughter and smiles amongst so many that came across his presence. A young man, whom’s smile touched many souls. He was willing to go above and beyond anybody’s expectations. The love Raban gave to others was truly unconditional, without seeking anything in return. Raban also spent his time adoring animals. Specifically, our family pets Shamar, Scruffy, and Smallz. Admired by many, he was loved by all whom knew him. Raban was our soldier at birth and now is our angel in heaven. Until we meet again, and may the most high bless his soul into father Abrahams bosom off into the kingdom of heaven. He was preceded in death by paternal grand parents, Gilbert Luis Martinez; great grandparents, Eduvigen Luis Martinez; great grandmother, Carlotta “Maria” Martinez. He is survived by his daughter, Ava Rose Garcia; mother of his child, Asher Garcia; grandmother of his child, Roxanne Garcia; father, Gilbert Jude Martinez (Elizabeth Culpepper); mother, Ashida Marlene Jordan (Derrick Kennedy); grandmother, Juanita Martinez; brothers, Jonathan G. Martinez, Nathaniel S. Martinez, Devneek Yazzie, Joseph Jordan; sisters, Adrianna & Rebekah Martinez, Aamiyah Mullen, Malakah Y. Martinez & fiancée Jacob Baca & niece, Raine Lynn’Elle Baca born on August 07, 2021. Family visitation 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm Thursday August 19, public viewing 6:00 pm 8:00 pm.  oth visitations will be held at Strong Thorne Funeral Home, 1100 Coal Ave SE.  Funeral Services will be held Friday August 20, 11:00 am at Strong Thorne Funeral Home, burial at Fairview Memorial Park, immediatly following the service.
