Mary Louise Sherman

Sherman, Mary  

Age 70,  passed away Sunday January 1, 2023. She was born in  Albuquerque, New Mexico on September 27, 1952.  Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.  Mary was born to Dillon and Rose Platero. 

Mary is proceeded in death by her parents; Dillon and Rose Platero, and brother Patrick Platero. 

Mary is survived by her husband David Sherman and four daughters Sunshine Sherman and husband Robert Lucero, Valerie Sherman and her partner Benjamin Garcia, Mary A. Sherman, Jennifer Sherman and  partner Jose Miera. Three grandsons Isaac Lucero, McLane Begaye and Benjamin Garcia Jr. and many Godchildren.  Also, survived by her siblings Shirley Tapia, Antoinette Day and husband Leonard Day,  Lawrence Platero, William Platero  and wife Mary Love, Gregory Platero and wife Sherri Platero,  Patricia Platero-Soto and husband Sal Soto, Maria Candelaria and husband Larry Candelaria, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Rosary will be held Monday January 9, 2023, 6:00- 7:00 pm at  Strong-Thorne Chapel 1100 Coal Ave SE 87106 Albuquerque, New Mexico.  

Mass will be held on Tuesday January 10, 2023, 10:00 am, at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church
