Mary Angelina Sandoval, (Angie) 83, was born August 25, 1933 in El Paso, Texas to Caroline Gallegos and Manuel Villalovos, left us on October 5th, 2016, with family by her side in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She is proceeded in death by her parents (Caroline Gallegos and Manuel Villalovos), siblings Mary “Elizabeth” Chavez, Mary “Corine” Hammak, Lee Roy Espinoza, Patricia “Arlene” Abston, as well as her children Geraldine Sandoval, Ralph Quintana, Charles Sandoval, and two grandsons Ralph Quintana Jr., and Derek Taylor Jr.
She is survived by her 6 children, Louie and his wife Amy Sandoval, Anna and her husband Richard Weins, Chris and his wife Jocelyn Sandoval, Catherine and her husband Joel Ramos, Maria Sandoval, and Eileen Sandoval, 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Mary, a wonderful, caring, and compassionate woman who always remembered your birthday and put family first. She would go without so that others could have, and was there to lend an open ear without fail. She was genuine, speaking her mind, never one to hold back an opinion, voicing anything proudly. As a beautiful child of God, she was devoted in all things she undertook, putting trust in God to get her through even the toughest times. Her family was her foundation, her rock, and she is loved dearly for it. On this day, we mourn for her passing, but rejoice in her ascendance into heaven, a place where only angels can reside. You will forever be in our hearts Mary Angelina Sandoval, we love you very much."
