Maria Victoria Sandoval, age 54, loving mother, and adoring grandmother, passed away in the early hours of the 15th of November after a courageous battle with Cancer. Maria was born in 1968 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and grew up surrounded by her large family. Maria was influenced at a young age to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She loved her grandchildren with all her might and was just so ecstatic to be their Nana. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her grandchildren. Anyone who knew her knew that she was a star in their eyes and that's all that mattered to her. She also had many friends and was well-loved by everyone around her. She was a strong-willed, hard-working woman who was always so loving and encouraging to others. She loved to sing and dance, especially in church. Something she really loved doing was gathering her family for holidays and cooking for them. It was her favorite. she was the glue, always keeping everyone together. We can't forget the cowboys... She loved her Dallas Cowboys. She saw and believed in God. She was a woman with a generous nature and a giving heart overflowing with love. A trusted soul with a prayerful spirit. One who was a blessing from heaven. Maria was precedent in death by son: Derek; Mother: Mary; Brothers: Charles and Louie. Maria is survived by Son: Robert (Shanina) Grandsons: Amarii and Elias; Sisters: Catherine, Eileen, and Anna; Brother: Christopher and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family. 

We know that we can't have you back, but we are happy knowing that the angels have finally gotten you back. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and beautiful Mother.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday November 22, 2022 - 11:00 am at Strong Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE 87106 Albuquerque, NM
