Leonard (Lenny) Nadborne

Leonard "Lenny" Ira Nadborne - born July 25, 1941 passed away peacefully December 19, 2017 while visiting in Phoenix, Arizona. He was surrounded by his beloved family. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he eventually headed west, and made Albuquerque his home. Lenny had a 50 year career as a commercial painter, and he had a passion for food, the penny casino machines, and country music dancing, where he met the love of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edyth and Manny Nadborne, and sister, Iris Arbucci. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Lucille (Lucy), daughter Dorieanne Nadborne, son Mike Jojola and wife Holly, loving niece April Jiron and husband Calvin and sister-in-law, Dorothy and husband Dwayne, Grandson, Nikko Nadborne. He was known as Uncle Lenny to Andres, Calvin Jr., Iris, Isaac, and the entire Jiron family. Lenny loved and adored, Zoe, Tracy and Tyler Mayclin who reside in Seattle. He had a special bond with, Tamara and Logan Piburn and their children, Simon, Tobias, Leora. He also deeply cared for Ashley and Rudy Cambara and their daughters, Juliana, and Natalia. He had a wonderful smile, and had a great sense of humor. He was proud of his Jewish heritage, but also had deep respect for the catholic faith of his wife.

Memorial Service will be held on February 24th 2018 at 3 pm with a reception to follow.
