Leo Loftis

After battling cancer for two years, Leo E. Loftis was called home on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the age of 71.
He was born on May 4, 1947 in Carlsbad, NM to Leo and Emma (Benefield) Loftis, Sr. He is survived by his children: Michael Loftis and wife, Tracy, Nick Loftis and wife, Jodi, and Brandy Loftis and husband, Josh Wagner, all of Albuquerque, NM; nine grandchildren, Kristen, Kellie, Megan, Aubree, Addi, Avery and Gekhari Loftis, Justin & Damian Wagner; siblings, Jonell Loftis, Liz Gibbs and Darrell Loftis. He is also remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, watching them compete in sports, going on field trips and vacationing with them at Disneyland. Anyone who knew Leo knew that he was the one to call when you needed something fixed, even though he complained a lot about doing it, he was always there to help.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque.
