Kristy Faye Renfro

God has a way of doing things. Sometimes we don't understand, but we

 continue to Trust him and put it all in his hands.

 Kristy Faye Renfro was born April 30, 1980 weighing 3lbs ½ oz @ birth @ Presbyterian Hosp, Albuquerque, NM to Carolyn (Ervin) Foster, Mother and Lewis K Renfro, Father who proceeded her in death. At age 11, 1991 Darryl Foster (Papa) came into our life. Most of her friends also called him Papa. 

Kristy favorite food was tacos, enchiladas & Ribeye steak. Kristy loved traveling, her favorite was going on cruises once she got started in 2014, so much she just got to be PLATINUM in 2024 with Royal Caribbean. 

Kristy was raised in the church & enjoyed going to Joylight COGIC with her grandmother Mother Ervin. She loved singing. She sang in the Children & Youth Choir. She took pride being a Youth Usher. She would practice @ the grocery store & practice her stance @ home to usher people in the house. At 17 Kristy ask if could go to Bethesda COGIC, under the Leadership of Overseer Leroy & Carolyn Jamerson who she called, her other set of parents. I did let her go. There is where she made her Personal commitment to God. She enjoyed making church Bulletins & stayed a member of Bethesda until moved away.

Kristy attended Albuquerque Public Schools. While attending McKinley middle school, she was involved in Razzle Dance team. She then attended Del Norte High school and was a cheerleader her freshman year, sang in the Del Norte school choir for 4 years. During her sophomore year, although she enjoyed cheering, she wanted to work. Started out working @ Carrolls Restaurant, then went to work @ Uncle Cliffs with several of her friends. After graduating from Del Norte High in 1998, She Went to UNM for 2 years. 

In 2002, Kristy started working @ TriCore Lab a few years before moving to Calif for a while with best friend Janelle Hefley. Came back to Albuquerque, back to TriCore Lab. Then move to Quest Diagnostic with manager/friend Trish Johnson. In March 2013 Kristy transferred to Quest Diagnostic in Tucker, Ga. where she worked as a Service Solution Rep. Shortly after moving to Georgia she met Randy Hopkins. On December 9, 2017 the love of her life was, born, Raniyah Faith Hopkins. Kristy was a wonderful mother, keeping Raniyah involved in sports such as basketball, soccer, swimming & cub scouts as Kristy herself was a Den Leader for her Troop all while taking classes to get her Bachelor's degree from Capella University, she was to graduate in May 2025 with a Bachelor's dgree in Business Admin. On her passing, she was the Sr Service Solution Rep @ Quest.

Kristy leaves to keep her memory alive, her daughter Raniyah Hopkins, Norcross, Ga. her Parents (Carolyn & Darryl Foster) Albuquerque, NM. 2 brothers, Scott Foster (Brejette) Albuquerque NM. Marlon Foster (Chandra) Overland Park, Ks. 1 Sister, Sabrina Johns (Kenneth) Las Vegas, Nv. . Godmother, Mother Johnnie Johnson Albuquerque, NM. Godbrother, Kevin Bean, Best Friend, Janelle Hefley, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
