Katherine Otero

Kathy Otero, 58, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, April 9th, 2023. She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother;  Ventura and Mary Legarreta, late husband James Otero, Brother Ben Legarretta, Father and Mother in law, Louise and Manny Otero. She was survived by her 3 daughters; Melissa Velasquez and husband Brian Velasquez, Chantel Serna and husband Jeff Serna, her precious baby Brandi Maldonado and her only son, Frank Baca. She had 7 precious grandchildren; Ventura and Natalia Velasquez, Mia and JJ Serna, Frankie Lior Baca, Jayden Sena and Camryn Baca. As well as 3 brothers; Eli, Joel and Lalo Legarreta and sister Marlene Legarreta. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.  

Kathy’s Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 28th, 2023 at 1:00pm at Strong-Thorne Mortuary - 1100 Coal Ave. SE
