June Romero, 64, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017. She was born on May 11, 1952 in Savannah, GA to Leo and Wileen Woodcock.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Woodcock. June is survived by her husband, Richard Herrera, of Albuquerque, NM; mother, Wileen Hollinsworth, of Statesboro, GA; children: Chris Boyd of Seward, AK, Aaron Boyd of Savannah, GA, Simone Stephens and companion, Isaac Robles, of Albuquerque, NM, Michael Stephens and his wife, Fabiola, of Rio Rancho, NM, and Julia Vigil and her husband, Juan, of Albuquerque, NM; stepchildren, Noah Herrera, Ricardo Herrera, and Arielle Herrera; grandchildren, Olivia Boyd, Adam Stephens & Scarlette Robles, Abigail & Lucas Stephens, Angelique Stephens, Juanito & Zaedith Vigil, and Patrick Morrison; sister, Joanie Woodcock; best friends, Sophia Lucero and Albert Lucero; nieces, Melissa Escarcida, Nicole Morlan and Hollie Morlan; nephew, Shawn Escarcida; previous husband, Joseph Romero; and many other friends who will miss her dearly. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Strong-Thorne, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque.
