Jose Lopez Pacheco passed away peacefully on August 2, 2024, in his home in Los Lunas, New Mexico, surrounded by his loving family, at the remarkable age of 100. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Isabel Garcia de Lopez, and two of their children, Rosaura and Luis Miguel Lopez. Born on March 24, 1924, in San Antonio de Padua, Valparaiso, Zacatecas, Mexico, Jose led a life rich in experiences and marked by dedication and love.

 In his early years, Jose served honorably in the Mexican military as part of the cavalry. At the age of 22, he married Isabel, and together they built a beautiful family filled with love and resilience. From 1951 to 1964, he worked tirelessly in the Imperial and San Joaquin Valley as an exemplary Bracero worker, contributing significantly to the agricultural community and embodying the spirit of hard work and perseverance.

 Jose's memory is cherished by all who knew him, thanks to his infectious passion for reading, gardening, and his unwavering devotion to God. He lived each day guided by the scriptures, finding solace and strength in his faith, which directed his every action. His witty nature brought joy to those around him, and his presence was a constant source of warmth and wisdom. He is lovingly remembered by his surviving children: Elias, Maria Auxilio, Pedro, Ruben, Lilia, Jose Antonio, Maria Guadalupe, and Elvia. Jose's legacy of faith, love, and hard work will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

José López Pacheco falleció en paz el 2 de agosto de 2024 en su casa de Los Lunas, Nuevo México, rodeado de su amada familia, a la extraordinaria edad de 100 años. Le preceden en la muerte su amada esposa, Isabel García de López, y dos de sus hijos, Rosaura y Luis Miguel López. José nació el 24 de marzo de 1924 en San Antonio de Padua, Valparaíso, Zacatecas, México. José llevó una vida rica en experiencias y marcada por la dedicación y el amor a toda su familia.

 A su temprana edad, José sirvió honorablemente en el ejército mexicano en la sección de caballería. A los 22 años se casó con Isabel y juntos formaron una hermosa familia llena de amor y fortaleza. De 1951 al 1964, trabajó incansablemente en el Valle Imperial y San Joaquín California en el programa bracero, contribuyendo significativamente a la comunidad agrícola y encarnando el espíritu de trabajo duro y perseverante.

 La memoria de José es apreciada por todos los que lo conocieron, gracias a su contagiosa pasión por la lectura, la jardinería y su inquebrantable devoción a Dios.
