Johnathan "Johnny" Edward Hoover, Jr., 16, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016 in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born on March 9, 2000 to Johnathan Edward and Debra "Debs" (Prosser) of Albuquerque, NM. He had completed his sophomore year of high school; however, his accomplishments are greater than most his age: he was a Flight Sergeant with the Civil Air Patrol, flew a plane before driving a car and had qualified flying solo in a glider at the young age of 14. Johnny's accomplishments paled in comparison to the kind and gentle human being that he will never be forgotten. He was polite, courteous, respectful, chivalrous and a very gentle soul. Extremely intelligent, was learning the German language, his dream was to become an engineer and a pilot. He was meticulous and known to have the cleanest car - inside and out - of all his family and friends. He enjoyed remote controlled cars, riding bicycles, taking things apart to see how they worked, helping around the house and completing projects. Above all, he loved his family. He genuinely loved his siblings. Johnny loved to spend time building model airplanes and Lego's. He cared more about his family and friends' well being and feelings before his own. Johnny will remain the epitome of the word "selfless." His father, Johnathan, Sr., received him in Heaven. He was, also proceeded in death by his grandmother, Judy Dolen, and grandfather, Edward Lee Hoover. He is survived by his mother, Debs Hoover; siblings, Michael Hoover, Tanya Hoover, Rose Deacon and her father, Mark Deacon, Julianna Hoover, and William Hoover; aunt, Kimberly Dub-Foster and husband, David, and her daughter, Danielle Dub; grandparents, Alan and Patricia Prosser; aunts and uncles, Julie and Martin Warnecke and their children, Katie, Verity, and Brionie, Caron and Chris James and their children, Hadyn and Jonathan, Deb and Pat Nieukirk and their children, Bradley and Kyle.
