John Leo DeMmon, a beloved member of the community, peacefully passed away in Albuquerque at the age of 88. He was born on June 18, 1935, in San Francisco, CA. John was married to his devoted wife Andrea Garley DeMmon for a remarkable 65 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Andrea and their three sons: John (Linda), Michael (Laura) along with their two sons Antonio and Diego, and David (Karen) with their son Corbin.
John bravely served in the United States Marine Corp in 1956 during the Korean War before later serving in the Air Force. His dedication to his country was commendable and deeply appreciated.
Throughout his lifetime, John touched countless hearts with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit. His love for his family and friends knew no bounds and was evident in all that he did.
A visitation in memory of John will be held on February 21, 2024 at 6:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Strong Thorne Mortuary in Albuquerque. A Funeral Service will follow on February 23, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Albuquerque.
John's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.
