Age 92, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015. He was born on March 15, 1923 to Juan and Rose (Garcia) Armijo of Albuquerque, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, sisters, and many nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lilly Armijo; children, Judy A. Montanes and Danny Armijo of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Judy Lucia Gutierrez and William Matthew Montanes; grandchildren, Nikalah Gutierrez, Blake Montanes, and Alexah Montanes. Viewing and Visitiation will be held from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM with the Rosary to be recited at 4:00 PM on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Road NW, Albuquerque. Interment with Military Honors presented by the US Army will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Ave SE, Albuquerque.
