Jesse D. Burdex Sr. gracefully departed from this world on May 4, 2024. He first graced the earth on February 12, 1941, to his loving parents Marie Davis and William Burdex.
In the year 1959, Jesse proudly donned his graduation cap from Anadarko High School, marking the beginning of his journey into adulthood.
Throughout his life's voyage, Jesse experienced the heart-wrenching loss of several beloved family members, including his son Tory Burdex, mother Marie Jones, stepfather Nash Davis Sr., brother Nash Davis Jr., grandson Tory Anthony Burdex, and great-grandson Alfonso Thompson Jr.
Margaret Pendarvis Burdex stood as Jesse's devoted partner for an impressive 64 years, their bond flourishing from high school sweethearts into a strong matrimonial union. From this enduring love story blossomed six children: Sherry Burdex Willingham, Jesse Burdex Jr., Lanita Burdex, Tory Burdex, Valerie Burdex, and Timothy Burdex. His role as a husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather was marked by humor, resilience, and wisdom.
Jesse's legacy extends through a lineage of grandchildren: Robert Beal, Nicole Clark, Natasha Ventura, Torrance Burdex, Kishada Burdex, Angelo Burdex, Brooklynn Burdex, Rastice Burdex, Timothy Burdex Jr., Nakita Guzman, Johnathan Guzman, and Alexis Drake . Additionally, he leaves behind 28 cherished great-grandchildren.
The memory of Jesse will be carried forth by his surviving brothers Robert Donell Davis, Ronald Davis, and Aaron Burdex. Jesse's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him – his family and friends alike.
