Jermaine Minner

Jermaine John Minner, age 44, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020.  He was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Diana Minner Davis and Royal Blaine.  Jermaine was a loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother and Uncle.

Jermaine was known for his loving heart, open arms, hard work and kind words. He was an awesome husband of 27 years to his wife, Genevieve Lucero, who he loved very much and with whom he shared a special bond. He was also a great father to his beautiful children, Dalona Lucero, Julian Lucero-Minner, D'angelo Lucero-Minner, Devon Lucero-Minner and Azarias Lucero-Minner.  Jermaine loved his family with all of his heart and would do anything for them on any given day, He was a very hard worker and took great care in raising his family.  He also enjoyed camping, fishing, music, sports and spending time with his loved ones as well as many, many other outdoor activities.

Jermaine is preceded in death by his father, Royal Blaine; brother, Anthony Minner; grandfathers, John (Billy) Minner and Royal Blaine Sr.; and grandmother, Willie Blaine.

He is survived in life by his wife, Genevieve Lucero; children, Dalona Lucero, Julian Lucero-Minner, D'angelo Lucero-Minner, Devon Lucero-Minner, and Azarias Lucero-Minner; grandson, Cloud; mother, Diana (Steve) Davis; raised by Joe Ingram Sr.; brothers, Joe Ingram, Shane Blaine, Trey Blaine, and Joe Lucero; sisters, Alize Davis and April Ingram; multiple nephews and nieces; and his mother-in-law, Cynthia Lara. Jermaine was a very determined individual who loved all of his family and friends very much just as his family and friends loved him. He will be greatly missed.

There will be a Visitation for Jermaine Minner on Thursday, October 15, 2020, 4:00 pm, and a Celebration of Life Service on Friday, October 16, 2020 both to be held at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave, Albuquerque, NM. Burial Service will follow immediately after Service at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM.
