Jeremiah Demetriss Houston

Jeremiah Demetriss Houston, a beloved figure in the lives of his family and friends is known by various endearing nicknames. Whether it was as “Germ”, “Germ Bug”, Buggy’s, “Buggs”, or “Niager”, entered Heaven on Saturday, April 6, 2024. He is survived by his adoring mom, De Leshia; dad, Justin Harris; sister, Quintress; grandpa, Rick; grandma, Cynthia; aunties, La Tashia, Becca, and Terea Martinez; cousins, ShaQuan, Azariah, Andres, Kristin and Mina; girlfriend, Brihyanna; numerous extended family members and the many best friends he held close.

 He was preceded in death by his, grandma, Wanda; grandpa, Patrick; uncles, Howard, Bill, Charles, and Robert; and cousin, Vanessa. 

Jeremiah will forever be remembered for his infectious smile, his ability to bring laughter to any situation, and his unwavering devotion to his family. His love for his mom, dad, and sister were the cornerstone of his life. He will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Strong Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE, 87106. Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024, also at Strong Thorne. Jeremiah will be laid to rest at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho.
