A loving sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away on November 13, 2021 at the age of 79 in Pensacola, Florida.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Martha Chavez; brothers, Tony Chavez, David Chavez, Tommy Chavez, Jose Chavez; sisters, Juliette Larribas, Marie Hernandez, Dolores Sanchez, Ramona Navarro and Lillian Howard.
Jeanette C. Howard was born on September 2, 1942 to Daniel and Martha Chavez in Bernalillo, NM. She was a longtime housekeeper in Albuquerque, NM and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Jeanette was a very generous, loving and caring woman. She enjoyed cooking, bingo, cards and scratchers. Anyone that truly knew Jeanette, knew she had a big heart. Jeanette would welcome everyone with open arms. She helped raise many children, even if they were just kids in the neighborhood. She loved to always help. Jeanette was loved fiercely and deeply and we take comfort in knowing that Jeannete is now at peace.
A Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Strong Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11:00 am at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1509 Edith Blvd SE.
