Jaqueline Kincer Bishop

April 5, 1923 — March 31, 2015

Jacqueline Patricia Kincer Bishop passed away on March 30, 2015.  She was born on April 5, 1923 in Colorado Springs, and moved to Albuquerque when she was 2 years old.  She attended St. Vincent Academy and graduated from St. Mary’s High School.  As one of the first older adult students at the University of New Mexico, Mrs. Bishop earned 3 degrees in English Literature.
She met and married Joseph Nickel Bishop during World War II while working as a secretary at Kirtland Air Force Base.  He preceded her in death in 1988.  Mrs. Bishop is survived by 3 children:  Joe, Sharon (Dave), and Charlotte (Greg), as well as 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Prayer services will be held at Daniels Family Funeral Services Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, followed by burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
