Herbert Grossman

Herbert Grossman, age 86, dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him, passed away April 27th, 2017. Herb was known for his love of his Alma Mater, UNM, where he participated in football and gymnastics, and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Herb was paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne, retiree of the U.S. Geological Survey, an avid fisherman, and grandpa to everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Margaret, and his daughter, Erika. He is survived by his wife: Patsi; sons, Lenny and Karl; grandchildren: Shaun, Steph, Keith, Maggie, and Kody; great grandchildren: Miriam, Elijah, and Liam; and cousin, Jimmy of FLA. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 3rd at 1pm, Strong-Thorne, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102, with reception to follow at same location.
