Helen Romero

Helen Romero was born January 7, 1948 she was a very strong and loving women who touched many lives. She was not only a beloved Mother and sister, but also a much- loved grandmother, aunt and Nina. On March 6th, 2025, Helen Romero was called home to join her husband Tony Romero and her parents George and Angelina Rivera, brothers Danny and Jimmy Rivera in eternal peace. Helen’s memory will forever be cherished by her children Rudy Romero, Phillip Romero and wife Bobbie Jo, Albert Romero and Rudy Romero Jr. She is also survived by brothers George Jr. and Michelle Rivera, Sisters Joann Romero, Gloria Marquez, Isabelle Barela and Patrick, and many nieces and nephews. Helen will be greatly missed by many. As we come to terms with Helen’s absence, we cannot help but feel the weight of grief on our hearts. The impact she had on our lives cannot be overstated; She leaves behind an indelible mark. We are grateful for the time we were able to spend with such a remarkable soul.

As we gather to honor her memory and commemorate the beautiful life she led, let us find solace in knowing that she now rests in eternal peace alongside of those who proceeded her. A rosary will take place Thursday March 20, 2025 6pm-8pm at Strong Thorne Mortuary located at 1100 Coal Ave SE Albuquerque NM 87106. Mass will be held Friday March 21, 2025 11:00 am at San Jose Parish located at 2401 Broadway Blvd Albuquerque, NM 87102 with a Burial to follow at Fairview Memorial Park located 700 Yale Blvd SE.
