Guadalupe Baca

Guadalupe Santiago Baca, age 79, met the eyes of Jesus on November 23, 2020.  He was born August 13, 1941 in Ojo Caliente, NM.  He served in the United States Army from 1962-1964.  He was a jack of all trades in carpentry and construction.  He loved working with wood and could build you a house complete with furniture and all.  He also worked in maintenance with St. Joseph's Hospital which later became Lovelace Hospital before retiring after 33 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Eloisa Baca; sisters, Maxine, Grace, Rose, and Eva; and brother, Seferino Baca.

He is survived by his sisters, Clorinda and Clarabelle; sons, Kenneth Varela and Kevin G. (Emily) Baca; adopted son, Kevin A. Baca; daughters, Candida (Jerome), Eloisa (Jason), and Delia Guerra who was like one of his own daughters; granddaughters, Vanessa (Larry), Francesca and Destiny; grandsons, Ryan, Jason and Nathaniel; and great-grandson, Larry Jr.; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and is now resting in Heaven in the arms of God.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020, 11:00 am-12:00 pm, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 5901 Edith Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.

Funeral Service will also be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020, 12:00 pm-1:00pm, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 5901 Edith Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.  Interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
