Glenda Villegas

Glenda (Lucero) Villegas passed away on March 15, 2019 following a long illness surrounded by her family.   She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Villegas, and son Eric and fiancé Annie Armijo, and daughter Vanessa and her grandchildren Samantha Villegas, John and Jazmine Mendez, and Julie Armijo whom she adored, and Sisters Rachel Lucero, Gloria Lucero-Nelson and husband Gary, and her brother Del Lucero, her father-in-law Nicolas Villegas and sister-in-law Angela Villegas, and numerous loving nephews and nieces.  Glenda worked with APS for many years and enjoyed working with students and her co-workers.  Glenda will be remembered for her love of arts and crafts, gardening, and making meals for family and friends. Services followed by a celebration will be held on March 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Avenue SE, ABQ, NM.
