Garland Clymore

Garland E. Clymore, 72, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. He was born in Claremore, OK on May 4, 1945 to Ellis and Muriel (Griffin) Clymore. One word sums up his life: adventurous. He loved adventures- including, skiing, fishing, golfing, camping, hiking, tennis and racquetball. He had a huge personality and love for life. He was, also artistic and his creativity was seen in his paintings, metal work and stained glass. Before retirement he was the Vice President of Marketing and Purchasing for Sysco Foods in Salt Lake City, UT.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Garland is survived by his wife of 47 years, Paula (Hawkins) Clymore of Albuquerque, NM; his brother Leon Clymore and wife, Lou, of Atlanta, GA;  his sister, Carol Park, and husband Jack of Longview, TX; and brother-in-law, David Hawkins and wife, Rhonda, of Tampa, FL.  Mr. Clymore will be missed by all that knew and loved him dearly.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017, 11:00 A.M., at Strong-Thorne Chapel, with reception to follow.
