Feliciana Ibarra, born on August 16, 1950, in Hondo, TX, peacefully departed this earth on December 19, 2023. She was the daughter of Encarnacion and Maria Oranday. She lived in Hamlin, TX for many years before moving to Albuquerque, NM in 1999 to be close to her daughters and sister.
Feliciana was reunited in eternity with her parents, two sisters, Munda Oranday and Lola Heinen and two brothers, I.C. and Domingo Oranday.
She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Oranday and Maria Guardiola (spouse James) of Albuquerque, NM. Grandchildren, Gabriel and Natalie Oranday and Ezequiel Ibarra. Sister, Juanita Campos (spouse David) of Albuquerque, NM. Brothers, Julio Oranday (spouse Vicki) of Garland, TX, Jose Oranday of Port Aruthor, TX, and Encarnacion Jr. Oranday (spouse Carrie) of Hallettsville, TX. Additionally, she is survived by a multitude of beloved nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Feliciana dedicated her life to her daughters and her three grandchildren. She will be remembered for her laugh, baking and her love of family.
Visitation for Feliciana will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 5:00- 7:00 at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE Albuquerque, NM 87106.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Shrine of Saint Bernadette Catholic Church. Rosary begins at 9:30 am. Funeral mass from 10 am to 11 am. Reception will be held immediately following mass at the parish hall.
