Evelyn S. Ford born July 18, 1953 in Santa Fe, NM passed away at her home on
September 25, 2022 in Albuquerque, NM.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents Alton B Walsh and Rosina (Mendoza)
Walsh.
Evelyn is survived by her husband James R Ford; Her children Ruben James Vigil,
Evangeline Vigil, Annette and Husband Michael Barraza and Jason Vigil: Step-children
Suzette Ford-Smith and Amber and Braine Dennison; Her sister Patricia Walsh,
brothers David and Alton Walsh; grandchildren Dylan Chavez, Talan Barraza, Eric Vigil;
Step-grandchildren Brandon, Dane, Kelsey, Naomi: Amani and Arielle; and many nieces
and nephews.
She worked for the Albuquerque Journal as a zone supervisor and an independent
contractor for over 20 years.
She loved to decorate her home inside and outside: loved her flowers and feeding the
hummingbirds. She was the best cook and enjoyed cooking for her family.
