Erlinda Lucero went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the age of 81.  She was born in Albuquerque, NM, on June 23, 1940, to Mike Perea and Enacita Atencio.
Erlinda also known as Linda was a life time resident of Santa Barbara Martinez-Town and a devout catholic. She got married to Jose F. Lucero on April 11, 1962.  They were married for 57 years. Linda loved listening to New Mexican Music on 89.1fm everyday along with her husband.  She loved roses and other flowers and hearing her wind chimes on her porch.  She enjoyed going to the casino when she was able to. Most importantly, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was always there for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose F. Lucero; father, Mike Perea and mother, Enacita Atencio; brothers, Pat Perea, and Ignacio Perea, and daughter Theresa Sisneros.  She is survived by her daughter, Diamond Palmer and son, Darryl Lucero wife, Chal-Marie; sisters, Helen Vallejos and Ruth Perea; six grandchildren, Felisha, Nichol, Derek, Drake, Jocelyn and Isiah and 10 great grandchildren; Tiana, Solomon, Janae.
Pallbearers, Joseph Vallejos, Isiah Muniz, David Lacour, Robert Perea, Solomon Henry, Sean Ray.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 5:00-6:00pm with rosary starting at 6:00pm, at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave, SE, Albuquerque, NM, 87106.  A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 11:00 am, at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd, NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87102.
