Age 67, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017. She was born in Lake Arthur, LA on July 14, 1949, to Dallas Joseph and Hazel Guidry Broussard . Elaine was proceeded in death by her parents, sister, Greta Faye Marler, and brothers, Steven Joseph Broussard and Michael Joseph Broussard. She is survived by her children; Elizabeth Lacouture of Albuquerque, NM, Vanessa Lacouture Keck of Salem, OR, Emily Lacouture Walker of Salem, OR, and Robbie Lacouture of League City, TX. Grandchildren; Nicholas Jeter of Las Cruces, NM, Samuel Keck of Salem, OR, Rachelle Stone of Las Cruces, NM, Terry Walker of Salem, OR, and Isabel Lacouture-Vigil of Albuquerque, NM. Siblings; James Calvin Dale Broussard of Mittie, LA, Richard Paul Broussard, and Jo Ann Broussard of Gueydan, LA. She loved her children and grandchildren above all else and took great pleasure in cooking their favorite things. She was a gifted baker and was known for her pies, cakes, pastries and breads. She loved to read and loved art. She treasured her art collection that she acquired over the years that she owned and operated an art gallery in Ruidoso, New Mexico.
