Dometrique Donte Shepherd was born on June 26, 1978 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to John and Gwen Shepherd. Dometrique attended Hubert Humphrey Elementary School, Eisenhower Middle School, and La Cueva High School where he excelled at football. He worked primarily in the automotive business in sales and finance. Dometrique was known to be the life of any social gathering. Loyal, loving, charismatic and kind were words often used to describe "Donte", "Te" or Meech as he was affectionately called. His family and many friends remember him as someone who touched your soul. Dometrique departed this life on October 13,2015 at the age of 37. Leaving to carry on his exceptional vibrance is his daughter, Jade Ratliff; mother, Gwen Shepherd; father, John Shepherd; nephew Miles Shepherd; brother Eddie Shepherd and a myriad of friends
