Christopher Jones

Christopher Maurice Jones, born on December 20, 1972, in Santa Clara, California, to Ellen Powdrell and Lorenzo Jones, departed from this world on August 25, 2024. He graduated from Valley High School and pursued computer courses following his education. Christopher found joy in his work as a cook, where he showcased his exceptional culinary skills, and despite later facing challenges due to disability, he remained passionate about music and cooking.

Christopher enriched the lives of those around him with his love for simple pleasures, particularly enjoying warm conversations with friends and family. He was deeply family-oriented, cherishing the bonds he created throughout his life.

Christopher is preceded in death by his beloved son, Isaiah Harston Jones; his father, Lorenzo; his brother, Terry Jones; and several other family members, including grandparents, great-grandparents, cousins, and aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Janiece Marie Jones; his son, Shyzavion Lamear Jones; his mother, Ellen Powdrell; and his nephew, Joshua Frydrych. He also leaves behind a close-knit family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and his stepchildren, Shyleah and Shyqwon Jackson, as well as a multitude of friends who will remember him fondly.

Christopher's legacy of love and joy will be forever cherished by all who knew him.
