Chastidy “Chasi” Rose Madrigal
June 24, 1985 – August 3, 2023, Albuquerque, NM.
Chasi Madrigal, of Albuquerque, died unexpectedly on August 3rd. She was only 38 years old. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by her sudden death. Chasi was born on June 24, 1985, and lived in Albuquerque all her life.
Chasi was a very successful person. On top of her graduating from West Mesa High School she attended UNM for college, receiving not only one degree but two. She obtained her associates degree in radiology, and her bachelors in psychology. During her time at UNM, she served our country in the army reserves for 13 years and worked at Lovelace Hospital utilizing her radiology degree as a CT tech. With all her experience and knowledge, she used her keen eye for detail and her strong understanding of medical imaging techniques to help so many people.
Chasi loved seeing new places all over the world. She loved trying new food, seeing diverse cultures and people. She has been all over the world not just for leisure, but for work as well. Some places she has been to were Canada, Mexico, Japan, England, Ireland, Greece, Amsterdam, France, and of course all over the United States like Hawaii, Texas, Florida, Washington State, New York and so much more.
Chasi was such a giving person when it came to family. As long as she had a home, Chasi opened her doors to anyone in need. She would often go out of her way to ensure her family members always had a place to stay, showing her selflessness and generosity. Chasi’s caring nature extended to creating a warm and welcoming environment for her loved ones, making each of them to feel valued, supported, and special.
Everyone who knew Chasi knew how loving, generous, selfless, resourceful, knowledgeable and silly she was. Chasi was full of life obvious to all even after just a single meeting with Chasi. Chasi was predeceased by her grandmother, Lupe, her grandfather, Robert and was survived by her mother, Christina, her stepfather, Salhi, her brothers Joshua and Jacob and an abundance of family and friends. We will miss her more than words can say.
