Cecilia A. Baca,  passed away on October 15, 2023, in Albuquerque. She was born on October 2, 1930, in Durango, Colorado. Cecilia's passing is a great loss to her family and friends as well as the healthcare community. Her life was marked by selflessness, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to caring for others.

Cecilia began her career in nursing with unwavering determination and an innate desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. Known for her kindness and empathy, she tirelessly served her patients with skill and compassion throughout her career. Cecilia's dedication to the nursing profession earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues and patients alike.

Outside of work, Cecilia was lovingly supported by her family. She married Eloy Baca as her first husband, and together they created a beautiful family filled with love and care. Although Eloy has preceded Cecilia in passing, their bond remains eternal.

Cecilia found love again with Carlos C De Baca. Their companionship brought joy and contentment to their lives until Carlos also passed away. The memories they shared will forever hold a special place in the hearts of their loved ones.

Cecilia leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of her surviving family members—her son Michael wife Adrienne, daughters Ellen and Anita—as well as grandchildren Jonathan and Elizabeth. Her legacy of love extends through generations with the addition of great-granddaughter Zoe.
