Brian Donaldson

November 7, 1949 — April 4, 2017

Brian R. Donaldson, 67 passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 after battling lung cancer. He was a Vietnam veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 49 and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 2241. He was preceded in death by his father; George and nephew, Dustin. His is survived by his mother, Barbara, brothers; David, Howard, and wife Terrie, Les and wife, Sandra, John and wife Cathy, sister, Nancy and husband, Ernie Ramirez, nieces and nephews; Clayton, Morgan, Lucas, Nick, Ben, Ashly and husband, Ken Miller, Whitney, Michael Ramirez, Victoria Ramirez, great nephews; Damian and Vicente, great niece; Brooklyn, aunt; Phyllis, many cousins and friends’ especially his dearest friend and companion Betty. The family would like to thank the caring physicians and staff at the V.A. Hospital for their loving care of Brian and are also grateful to the staff of Compassus Hospice and Canyon Transitional Rehabilitation Center for their care of Brian in his last days. Brian, you will be missed – we love you – God bless you on your journey. His ashes will be interred at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced. Donations may be given in his memory to the American Legion or Vietnam Veterans Fund.
