Mrs. Billie M. Mlekush 97 passed away on Monday, December 12, 2021 and is with Our Heavenly Father. She was a longtime resident 80 years in Albuquerque, NM.
Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Tony and her son, Tommy.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Garrison and husband, John Garrison.
Billie was born on August 13, 1925 in Sweetwater, Texas and migrated to New Mexico in early 1930's.
Billie was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Her gift of loving and caring demeanor was inherited by her only daughter, Mary Elizabeth Garrison. Billie enjoyed like and took each day as was given to her by out loving Savior Jesus Christ. She was gifted in many talents including earring making, not to mention her ability to play guitar, organ and the harmonica and she would do so at family gatherings. Our favorite was her talent and ability to Yodel. Billie also enjoyed making people laugh and be helpful. Her patients with fishing are unbelievable and she could catch fish while her husband could not. Last but not least, she truly loved playing poker.
