Betty Darrow

Betty Ruth Darrow, 89, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017. She was born on February 12, 1928 to Homer and Mary Belle (Foster) Satterfield of Georgetown, OH. She moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1968. Her life was her family. She was the greatest cook who used her creativity in many ways. Mrs. Darrow was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Mary Belle Satterfield; her beloved husband, Edmund Darrow; their son, Stephen Michael Darrow; and a brother, Bob Satterfield. She is survived by her sons, Rick Darrow and wife, Viola, of Albuquerque, NM and Brian David Darrow and wife, Loretta, of Jupiter, FL; grandchildren, James, Padraig & Sean Darrow, Cassandra Darrow Hill and husband, Kevin,  Ashley, Stephanie & Grace Darrow; great-grandchildren, Zariah and Sophia Williams; siblings, Gene Satterfield, Lloyd Satterfield, and Mary Levine.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Strong-Thorne, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque. The family would like to thank all the wonderful care Mom received from Ambercare and Sandy Green and her great staff at the Parkland House.
