Bernardo “Nio” Trujillo, beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 29th, 2024, at the age of 59. He was born March 11, 1965. Bernardo was a devoted family man, known for his kindness, generosity, and humor.
Throughout his life, Bernardo found joy restoring his 1970 Chevelle and nurturing his garden, where he cultivated beautiful plants and flowers. He was an avid outdoorsman, he cherished the time spent working outside, and found comfort in nature.
Bernardo dedicated himself to his work at Albuquerque Public Schools for 28 years, demonstrating exceptional commitment and diligence.
He was preceded in death by his mother Vidilia Trujillo; brother Alfonso Trujillo; father-in-law Feliberto Gabaldon.
Bernardo’s memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife Sandra Trujillo, daughter Sharlene Fernandez and husband Gabriel Fernandez, daughter April Trujillo; grandchildren Logan Fernandez, Fernando Martinez, Ashley Martinez, Aliana Trujillo, and Christopher Bernal; father Benancio Trujillo; brothers Luis Trujillo and Ernesto Trujillo; nephew Alfonso Trujillo; nieces Cecilia Gabaldon, Kika Trujillo, and Dobrina Rosales; great-nephews Nathan Gonzales and Sam Gabaldon; mother-in-law Theresa Gabaldon; sisters-in-law Tammy Rosales and husband Ruben, and Rosalee Trujillo.
Bernardo will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
