It was only fitting that the hardest working man, Arthur H. Baca, was called home to our Heavenly Father for eternal rest on Labor Day, September 5, 2016. He was born on November 17, 1935 in Starkville, CO to Cipriano and Adeline Baca. He retired as a facilities manager with the Bureau of Indian Affairs. His hardworking ethic was seen in each of his endeavors: farming, in Tome, raising cattle and pigs, construction and owning a plumbing and heating business. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Randi Nicole Baca; siblings, Sylvia Baca, Rosemary Mercado, Cipriano Baca, George Baca, and Timmie Carreon. He is survived by his wife, Dolores Baca; children, Adeline (Randy) Baca, Rick Baca, June (Jerry) Montoya, Monica (Raymer) Jaramillo, Denise (Tedd) Rohwer, and Donna (Phil) Garcia; grandchildren, Nicholas, Ericka, Jessica, Richard, Josh, Jenna, Jodi, Jared, Camryn, Avery, Paige, Diego and Sedona; great-grand-children, Jazmyn, Szandor, Costas, Randi, and Elijah; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. A Rosary was recited and Memorial Mass celebrated on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
