Aaron Shondale Ricks was born on October 14, 1983, in Albuquerque, NM to Staccato O. Ricks and Cheryl D. Ricks. He attended West Mesa High School, Class of 2002, where he actively participated in sports such as Track, Football, and Basketball. Aaron also pursued higher education at the University of New Mexico where he Red shirted for the Lobo football team.
Aaron had a wide range of interests and was known for his entrepreneurial spirit. He dedicated his time to assisting his father with summer youth events and working with young individuals. Additionally, Aaron engaged in several construction jobs and even had a talent for rap music under the name Shaw Q.
According to his siblings, Aaron was the prankster of the family who had a remarkable ability to make everyone laugh. He would often say, "I'll be right back!" Furthermore, Aaron possessed exceptional storytelling skills that could have made him a great writer.
Aaron played various roles throughout his life - as a son, husband, father, and devoted brother. He was protective and loving towards his loved ones. Moreover, he embraced his faith at an early age. Sadly, Aaron's life was cut short prematurely, depriving the world of witnessing the incredible potential that Aaron Shondale Ricks held within him.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Oddie B and Rebecca Carroll and paternal grandmother Josephine Ricks.
Aaron leaves behind cherished memories for those who loved him dearly: his wife Rashada Ricks; sisters Tekisha Younger (Fitzgerald), Tenadia Clayton (Thomas Jabari), Shanika Ricks (Samiah) brother Alon Ricks (Deseray).
Among his nieces and nephews are RaiShaun, Rayvin, Amia & Aleia Younger; Demetrius Carroll; Deviniti, Alon Jr., and Aamari Ricks; Leasia Ricks-Clayton and Kwame Clayton.
